HGV 18 Ton Driver
Full Time, 45 hours over 5 days per week

Our warehouse is based in Handcross but you will be traveling nationwide to deliver goods to our stores.

Pets Corner have a rare and exciting opportunity for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join our National Distribution Centre team, based in Handcross, West Sussex.

You will be driving one of our 18 Ton vehicles delivering goods to our stores nationwide.

As a face of the company both on the road and at the stores, you will need to be customer focused, presentable, proactive, a team player, have a great work ethic and able to adapt to the variables of the role with a positive approach and a can-do attitude.

You will build great relationships with the stores and as the link between them and the warehouse you will promote the site, while feeding back on any areas you see could be improved.

Due to the physical nature of the work and the heavy goods you will be lifting heavy loads. Our vehicles are modern and Eco Friendly and we supply modern equipment to allow you to do your job safely.

Some of your responsibilities and duties will be:

· Deliver Goods to your stores on time.

· Unloading goods, on smaller stores breaking pallets down.

· Collecting controlled waste from the stores.

· To work within the current driving and working time directive legislation always.

· Work safely always, for you and others, helping maintain a safe working environment in line with the H&S act 1974.

· To adapt and positively find solutions to any issues or variables that can occur.

· To positively represent yourself and the company always

You will need the following Skills and Qualifications:

· HGV License

· A Digital Tachograph Card

· Drivers CPC Card
